SYNC Website Performance Degradation

On 4/9/2021 between 14:40 to 16:20 a transient issue caused a spike in latency (causing performance degradation) for Track-API which had the downstream effect of some users of Track/SYNC websites potentially experiencing small, intermittent periods of disconnection from the server (order of 0 - 3 minutes). This could have rendered vehicles appearing stale in that period and recovered status immediately after reconnection.

The Engineering team worked on mitigating and monitoring the transient cause of this issue and all systems were cleared around 17:30.
