Resolved - Today’s incident has been resolved. We continued to monitor with no degradation in performance since 11am Pacific.

Our team is working to prevent the cause of this disruption from recurring in the future.

Update - We have implemented a fix for the real-time tracking disruption, but it's been slow to correct. Vehicles are beginning to resume tracking in real time, and will continue to come online as the system resumes normal performance.

We are monitoring the performance closely and will continue to update here until it is fully resolved.

Identified - We have identified the issue causing this morning's service disruption and are working towards a resolution. While the Sync web software and rider-facing tools are accessible, real-time tracking is down for most vehicles. Some basic tracking vehicle may be updating normally. Onboard vehicle systems should be preforming normally during this outage, with the driver interface, onboard announcements, and other features continuing to work locally on the bus.

While our team progresses on resolving the incident, we will provide updates with additional details via this status page.

Resolved - Our engineering team has resolved the earlier service disruption. Symptoms included slower responsiveness on the Sync dispatch software, vehicles appearing as "off route," and arrival predictions not updating properly. The impact was only on some of the servers that serve our traffic, so it did not impact all users equally, and many users may have seen proper performance throughout.

All systems are operating normally at this time. We are taking every step within our control to ensure we avoid a recurrence of this particular issue.

Monitoring - We are currently monitoring a nationwide Verizon outage. While this outage is unrelated to GMV's system, it is impacting some of our customers who use Verizon data services.

At this time, all GMV systems are operational, but customers in impacted areas of the country may experience sporadic vehicle communication issues.
